The onboarding wizard
The onboarding wizard is the guided setup that runs the first time you sign into a new tenant. It captures the bare essentials so the rest of the platform is usable straight away.
Where to find it
If you closed it earlier, open it again from Admin → Onboarding Wizard on your dashboard.
The 5 steps
1. Organization profile
- Legal name — appears on payslips, invoices and PDFs.
- Trade name — your shorter brand name, used in the UI.
- Address & tax ID — used for invoicing and exports.
- Logo upload — replaces the default Momentumpro mark.
2. First department
Every employee belongs to a department. Common starters: Operations, HR, Finance, Engineering. You can add more later under People → Departments.
3. First work location
The physical address where most of your team works. Used for:
- Visitor sign-in (Reception Desk).
- Holiday calendars by location.
- Geo-fenced clock in (if enabled).
4. Holiday calendar
Pick from regional presets (Israeli holidays, Palestinian holidays, common Western dates) or import a CSV. You can edit individual dates and add company-specific days off later.
5. Time-zone & default language
- The platform supports English, Hebrew and Arabic with full right-to-left layout.
- Each user can pick their own preferred language; this setting is just the default for new accounts.
Marking the wizard complete
Once all steps are filled in, the wizard auto-marks itself complete and the banner disappears from the dashboard.
What's NOT in the wizard
The wizard is intentionally short. The following are configured later, in their own dedicated pages:
- Roles & permissions — Admin → Roles
- Approval workflows — Admin → Approval Workflows
- Salary components — Payroll → Components
- SSO & 2FA — Admin → Authentication
