A tour of the dashboard
The Momentumpro dashboard is the home screen every user sees when they log in. This article walks you through what each section does.
Layout
The dashboard has three main areas:
- Top bar — global search, notifications, your profile menu.
- Sidebar — navigation grouped by area (Overview, Personal, People, Hiring, etc.).
- Main panel — widgets that show what's relevant to you today.
The Welcome Hero
At the top of the main panel you'll see a personalized greeting (e.g. "Good morning, Mutaz") with key stats:
- Active employees — your headcount.
- My tasks due — work assigned to you.
This widget changes wording by time of day and shows celebratory icons on birthdays.
Quick Actions
A grid of colourful tiles covers the actions most staff take every day:
- Clock in / out — open the attendance screen.
- Request leave — start a new leave request.
- My payslips — view and download payslips.
- Report incident — file a safety incident.
- New ticket — open an internal ticket.
- Sign in visitor — start the reception flow.
- Handbook — open the company wiki.
- My timesheet — log time on projects.
What appears here depends on your role — employees see different tiles than admins.
Today's brief
A three-column "what needs your attention today" panel:
- My tasks — open tasks assigned to you.
- Awaiting my approval — requests waiting on your sign-off.
- Coming up — leave, meetings and milestones in the next 7 days.
Pinned announcements
Company-wide notices from your admins (e.g. "Office closed Sunday") appear here until the user dismisses them.
Customizing the dashboard
Click Customize in the top-right of the dashboard to:
- Reorder widgets.
- Hide widgets you don't use.
- Set your default landing page (some users prefer to start in the calendar instead).
Changes are per-user and saved automatically.
