What Mia can do for you
Mia doesn't just answer questions — it can help you get work done too. Ask it to look something up, summarise, or kick off a task, all from the chat.
Things you can ask Mia to do
Try requests like these:
- Look up an employee — "Find John Miller's contact details."
- Summarise a report — "Summarise this month's attendance report."
- Draft an announcement — "Draft a company announcement about the office closing early on Friday."
- Help start a request — "Start a leave request for me next Tuesday."
Tip: Speak naturally. You don't need special commands — just describe what you want, like "Can you draft a welcome message for our new hire?"
How to ask Mia to do a task
- Open the Mia chat drawer.
- Describe the task in plain language.
- Review what Mia comes back with.
- If you asked for a draft, copy or edit it as needed.
When Mia changes data, it asks first
Mia is careful with your information. Any time a request would change or create data — like submitting a request or updating a record — Mia shows you what it's about to do and waits for your confirmation.
- Mia previews the action and the details.
- You review them.
- Confirm to go ahead, or cancel if it's not quite right.
Tip: Read the preview before you confirm. It's the easiest way to make sure names, dates, and amounts are exactly what you meant.
What Mia can do depends on your permissions
Mia works within your access level. You can only do through Mia what you're already allowed to do in Momentumpro:
- If you can't see a page or record normally, Mia won't show it either.
- If you don't have permission to perform an action, Mia will let you know.
This keeps everyone's data safe and means Mia is always working within your role.
