Task boards (Kanban)
The Kanban board gives you a visual, Monday.com-style view of your work — cards in columns that you drag along as tasks progress. It's the easiest way to see what's to do, what's in flight and what's done.
Open the board
- Go to Projects and open your project.
- Click the Board view.
Set up your columns
- Click Add column.
- Create the stages your work moves through, for example:
- To do
- In progress
- Done
Add a task card
- Click Add task in the column where the work starts.
- Fill in the card:
- Title
- Assignee
- Due date
- Labels
- Save the card.
Tip: Use quick-add at the top of a column to jot down a task title in seconds — you can fill in the rest later.
Work with cards
- Drag a card from one column to the next as the task moves along.
- Click a card to open it and add details, checklists and comments.
