Approve on the go
Managers and approvers can clear their approval queue from anywhere — no need to open a laptop.
Notifications
When a request needs your approval:
- A push notification lands on your phone.
- Tapping it opens the request directly.
You can disable push under Profile → Settings → Notifications, or use email instead (or both).
Approving from the notification
Tap the notification to open the request. Each request has clear summary info:
- What — type of request + headline (e.g. "Leave: Jane Doe — 5 days").
- Who — requester.
- When — dates / amounts.
- Context — links to relevant info (calendar conflict, budget remaining).
Three buttons:
- Approve — green.
- Reject — red, requires a reason.
- Comment — yellow, asks the requester for more info.
My queue
If you don't act on a notification, requests pile up in your queue:
- Tap the Approvals tab.
- See everything waiting on you.
- Filter by type or sort by oldest first.
Bulk approve
Select multiple requests with checkboxes → Approve all. The app asks for a single comment that applies to all.
Out of office?
Tap your profile → Set delegate. Pick:
- Who covers your approvals.
- For how long (until end of day, week, or custom).
When you're away, all requests route to your delegate automatically. See Delegating approvals for details.
Quick actions for common requests
For leave requests, the app shows:
- The requester's leave balance.
- Other team members on leave that period.
- A team-coverage warning if 50%+ of the team would be off.
For expenses, the app shows:
- Receipt thumbnails (tap to enlarge).
- Department budget remaining for the category.
This makes mobile approval as fast and informed as desktop.
