Clock in from mobile

The fastest way to clock in is from the app. One tap, geo-fenced if your organization uses it, works offline.

Clocking in

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the big Clock In button on the home screen.
  3. The app records:
    • The current time.
    • Your location (if location is enabled).
    • The work location you're at (auto-detected if within a fence).

A green confirmation appears. The home screen now shows You're clocked in — since 09:14.

Clocking out

Same flow:

  1. Tap Clock Out (the button changes when you're clocked in).
  2. The app records the time and total hours.

Geo-fenced clock-in

If your work location has a geo-fence:

  • The app checks you're within the radius before allowing clock-in.
  • If you're outside, the button is greyed out with "Outside fence — go to [Location]".
  • For exceptions (working from a client site), tap Request override — your manager approves remotely.

Offline punches

If you have no signal:

  • The app stores the punch locally.
  • A small offline indicator shows pending punches.
  • When you have signal again, punches sync automatically.

The original timestamp is preserved — even if you sync 6 hours later, the system uses the time you actually punched.

Forgot to clock out

If you forgot to clock out and it's past your shift end:

  • Open the app — it'll show a banner "Looks like you forgot to clock out. Adjust now?"
  • Tap Adjust to enter the actual time.
  • Submit — your manager approves the correction.

My week view

Tap My timesheet to see this week:

  • Each day with its hours.
  • Variances highlighted.
  • A Sum total for the week.
