Renters
Renters
A renter is the person or company you sign a lease with. They live in their own resource (sidebar → Property → Renters) so you can keep their record once and reference it from multiple leases over time — useful for renters who renew, or who rent more than one of your units.
What's on a renter
- Type — individual or company.
- Name, contact email, phone, mobile.
- National ID / Tax ID — for invoicing or legal documents.
- Date of birth, address, city, country.
- Emergency contact — name + phone.
- Notes — free text.
- Blacklist flag — if you mark a renter as blacklisted with a reason, they show up in red across the system and can't be selected on a new lease without an override.
Documents tab
Like properties and leases, renters have a Documents tab. Use it for things like:
- A copy of the renter's national ID
- Proof of income, references, credit checks
- A signed guarantor letter
