Invite your team
The fastest way to get value from Momentumpro is to bring your team in. There are three ways to add staff.
Option 1 — One at a time (manual)
For small teams or new hires:
- Go to People → Employees → New employee.
- Fill in name, email, department and start date.
- Tick Send invitation email.
- Click Save.
The employee receives an email with a link to set their password. Once they sign in, they see the Employee Portal with self-service for payslips, leave, requests and tasks.
Option 2 — Bulk import (CSV)
For onboarding 10+ staff at once:
- Go to People → Employees → Import from CSV.
- Download the template CSV if you don't have your own.
- Fill in:
first_name,last_name,work_email,department,job_title,start_date,mobile. - Drop your file into the import area, map the columns, and click Import.
- Tick Send invitations after import if you want the system to email everyone now.
Tip: Validation runs before any rows are written. If a department doesn't exist, the import shows you which row to fix.
Option 3 — SSO auto-link (Enterprise)
If you've configured SAML or Google Workspace SSO, you can:
- Pre-create the employee record (with their work email).
- Tell them to Sign in with Single Sign-On from your tenant login page.
- The platform matches the SSO email to the employee record automatically.
This is the cleanest flow for large organizations — no separate password to manage.
What employees see when they log in
A first-time employee lands on the Employee Portal, which shows:
- Their personal dashboard with quick actions (clock in, request leave, my payslips).
- Their tasks and approvals.
- Their documents and contracts.
- Pinned company announcements.
They only see things relevant to them — the admin areas of the platform are hidden by role-based permissions.
