Billing & plans
Billing is handled through Lemon Squeezy. The Owner role has access; other roles don't see billing by default.
Where to find billing
Admin → Billing in the sidebar (visible to Owner only).
Your current plan
The billing dashboard shows:
- Your current plan and billing period (monthly / yearly).
- Next renewal date.
- Number of active employees vs. plan limit.
- Storage used vs. plan limit.
- Card on file (last 4 digits).
Changing plan
Click Change plan:
- Upgrade — applies immediately, prorated to today.
- Downgrade — applies on the next renewal (you keep current plan benefits until then).
If you downgrade below your current usage (e.g. more employees than the lower plan allows), the system warns you and asks you to remove employees first.
Yearly vs monthly
Annual is 15% cheaper than monthly. Switch any time:
- Monthly → Annual: charged the difference for the period prorated.
- Annual → Monthly: applies on next renewal.
Discounts
Discounts available:
- 15% off for annual.
- 25% off for non-profits — submit proof under Admin → Billing → Apply discount.
- 25% off for 2-year prepay.
Stack with annual for 40% off on the 2-year plan for non-profits.
Updating payment method
Click Update card under Admin → Billing. The form is hosted by Lemon Squeezy — Momentumpro never sees your card details.
Invoices
Past invoices download from the same page:
- PDF format with your billing details.
- Includes VAT / tax as applicable.
What happens if a payment fails
- Day 0: Charge fails. We retry automatically over 7 days.
- Day 7: If still failing, your account moves to Past due. You can still sign in, but admin actions are limited.
- Day 14: Account is Suspended. Read-only access.
- Day 30: Your tenant is deactivated but data is retained.
- Day 60: Tenant is permanently deleted unless you contact support.
You can resolve at any point by updating the payment method.
Cancellation
To cancel:
- Admin → Billing → Cancel subscription.
- Pick whether to cancel at period end (recommended) or immediately (refunds remaining days prorated).
- Confirm.
After cancellation:
- You can still sign in until period end.
- All data is retained for 30 days post-cancellation in case you re-subscribe.
- After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
